Nevada ranks as the 29th worst state for traffic fatalities, with the majority of these being caused by driver error!
This dynamic creates a direct emotional and economic loss to the families, friends, residents, and businesses within our state. Indirectly, these situations have a negative affect our quality of life!
The Safety Training Centers of Nevada’s founders, Cullen Dillard and Robert Spiva, has a mission to bring to light the devastating impact these, and other types of crashes have, and what can be done to lower these situations through our comprehensive training methods.
Distracted and impaired drivers, inexperienced drivers, transportation companies, and everyday commuters are our target markets. Every day we take to the roadways, we are faced with an ever-increasing amount of hazards to affect our commutes or perform our jobs.
The ‘unseen’ or 'unacknowledged' facts of the tragedies that occur are the ongoing loss of business productivity; the emotional strain placed on families and loved ones to care for those injured, and coping with the loss of life from an act that we take for granted is staggering.
We have collaborated with the National Safety Council (NSC), the internationally recognized leader in safety training, local law enforcement, multiple insurance professionals, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and businesses to establish an enterprise designed to address the causes and effects of distracted, impaired, and aggressive driving and provide expert instruction as to how we can improve driver behavior and habits.
Our certified curriculum will teach the important lessons of how we can all be safer drivers. In addition to the certified training offered through the NSC, we will utilize state-of-the-art driving simulation systems paired with patented eye-tracking software to ‘show’ our clients what they need to read, recognize, and react to as they navigate their commutes. Our database management team will ‘farm’ the data gleaned from these systems to educate the DMV, and DOT of the practices and habits each demographic presents.
Our overall goal is to provide the NSC certified courses taught by our certified instructors to the state’s teen and inexperienced drivers, professional drivers, and transportation companies. We have reached out to Brokers and Agents in the state’s insurance industry to ensure that our courses will meet or exceed their requirements to provide ‘safe driver’ discounts to their clients, and in some cases, the insurance companies will reimburse the cost of tuition to their clients for certain classes taken and passed.
According to our comprehensive business plan, we anticipate needing to hire 15 to 25 individuals for full-time employment within our first 6-months of business operations. These positions will include project and data managers, sales and office managers, sales professionals, instructors, and administrative assistants.
