In January 2017,  the dynamic Bahamian-American duo  Princess-Abiguail and Princess-Elenah Timothy who published at ages 8 and 6 respectively, found themselves with a 30 day window to uproot their lives in the US to start a new life in The Bahamas.

The move meant giving up their Pro dance level spots held for two consecutive years on the Rutgers Junior Knights team - where they danced with the Harlem’s Globe Trotters. They’d leave behind all of their child hood friends, band and sports mates to brave the new world, new culture, new life with only four months of the school year left.

They tested and were accepted into the prestigious St. Andrew’s school and in two months were excelling in foreign language getting accepted to study for an immersion course in Costa Rica and Quebec.

A year later Princess-Abiguail graduated at 16 years old and got her driving license two weeks after turning 17 years old. She is entering the IB program with an aim to be  enter University if Michigan in Fall 2019 on the road to school of Dentistry.

The youngest, Princess-Elenah excelled to the top of her grade with a 3.79 GPA, placed third in the National Arts Festival for Drama, advanced to global in the world scholars competition and is set to take 12 high level IGCSEs -including Physics and Math, between November 2018 May 2019. She wants to attend MIT/Georgia Tech to pursue a degree in mechanical engineer major and minor in perfming arts.

Their extracurricular activities include dance, music (piano, trombone and flute) and also lead in service tutoring autistic students, peer mentoring, volunteering in various capacities including the Animal shelter, and church youth group.  They both sing in the youth group choir and the youngest held their first summer camp business with four of her friends raising $1500.00 in a week.

Sadly, due to unforeseen challenges including their father suffering three strokes, losing Insurance for dyalysis treatment and other medical care exacerbated by unfulfilled contractual payment has  threatened their education at this critical stage .  School has started and they remain at home awaiting expected funds to be paid.  The funds we are seeking will clear balances and cover remaining tuition for the year and part of college related fees.

These two young ladies are hardworking, focused and resilient.  They have overcome much and will make a positive impact. We need your help to ensure that their dreams are fulfilled and not delayed by the failure of others to fulfill commitment.  With your help, we commit to pay it forward.   Thank you.
