In 2011 I met my hero. My daughter came into this world at 5lbs 3oz she was born with a heart condition called Tetrology of Fallot. She also had a huge whole in between both chambers. She was in the NICU for 3 weeks. The last week she was there we were told that there was nothing they could do to safe her life. They couldnt do surgery because they believed she wouldnt make it. We made the hardest decision and put her in Gods hands and we pulled all medications off. She wasn’t suppose to survive 24hrs. 2 days later we bring her home on hospic she wasn’t suppose to make it past a week. 3 weeks later we take her to a different hospital for a second opinion. They were heaven sent! At 9 months old she had her open heart surgery. Its was the toughest thing to go through. She was only a baby but itbwas to save her life. Surgery took 7 hours and they had to put her on bypass 3 times. She was the strongest little human I had ever met! She fought through it all. 1 month of being in the hospital because of complications, she was ready to come home and we were so happy. Has healing was going on more complications were coming along but with the right medications she was happy and stable. We had already made it this far nothing could stop us. We were so blessed tobe able to celebrate her first birthday in a big way. My hero had made it this far! Then God gave us 3 more years after that. For her 4th birthday we threw a minion party. She loved them and was so happy. Then a month later God decided he needed his Angel back. A couple of months before She started having complications with her heart again. We took her to her cardiologist, he ran some test and put her on a heart monitor for a week. We got the results a week later and found out she was having rhythm problems and her right side of her heart was dilated. On Sept 2 my hero woke up in the morning, we got her ready for school and she had an amazing day there. When she got off the bus she gave the biggest smile and told me about her day. That afternoon at 4 pm her heart got tired and failed her. Its has been the hardest thing we have been dealing with but we have other kids we habe to be steong for. We are so thankful for the 4years we had with her because we weweren’t suppose to have them. She will always be my hero for fighting so hard to give us great memories
