Every once in awhile, a great new business is started that is destined to be a household name. Jampro Music Factory is one of them.
All of us that are parents want the very best for our children. We want inspired, smart and courageous children that will help make the world a better place.
Studies show the correlation between music education and elevated math and science test scores. Music also provides the environment to develop stronger self images through interaction with others and the public. Music can be a pathway to a stronger and more encouraged life.
The challenge has always been the approach.
Yes there are the chosen few who were called to music and just made it happen. They always seem to be the ones we used as examples. Making music almost a lucky happening.
Then the masses were introduced to a “must do this” program. In classes that are overcrowded and the experience anything but fun. It is still very common for kids in the US to take music for the two years they have to and then drop it for lack of interest or progress.
We won’t pursue things that are boring and forced with much passion.
Jampro Music Factory launched in August of 2013 with the mission to make music education accessible to everyone and so inspiring that students will continue for life. Fun and excellence works. The Jampro facility is state of the art. Multiple recording and practice studios, large stages for performance training. Jampro is packed with new instruments of all types for rental and purchase. From beginner to professional they can help everyone improve. All of the instructors are on staff and thoroughly checked out. They are not only some of the best teachers. They are some of the best people too.
Founder Chris Sewell, started Jampro after his experiences in trying to obtain quality music education for his three children. He was frustrated with the effort to find reliable and quality private instruction. The underfunded and crowded public school programs were not helpful either. This experience leads most parents to just endure their kids music education. Adding to the “This is no fun” problem. Very few people want to continue in this system.
Jampro Music Factory solves this.
I toured their facility at 9300 Prototype Dr Reno, NV 89521 with my family. From the moment you walk in you feel the positive. People are talking and having fun. Students are in session and teachers are helping them improve. There are displays everywhere with the latest instruments and equipment. A friendly and informed person met us and showed us around . We were so impressed with the easy pace and real desire to help us see all of the potential. From top to bottom it is clear that the Jampro family is well trained and committed to the big picture of making music education fun and for life.
As a parent, I want the very best for my children. As a committed person in the community, I am supportive of the organizations that are providing the tools for success .
One of the keys to a long term success is giving back.
Jampro provides music camps every year. They are in the process of fundraising so they can provide more scholarships to the camps. Jampro also has started an online program for musicians and bands to raise money for their recording costs. Check out the link on Jampro’s home page for their fundraising campaigns.
